Hallmark and HUID jewellery guidance

HUID is the Hallmark Unique Identification number. The six-character code is laser-marked with the hallmark on a jewellery article and can be checked through Verify HUID in the BIS Care app.

Check the hallmark and HUID on the article where applicable. On the invoice, review the item description, net weight, purity or carat and hallmarking charges.
